Kids Have Fun Too

While parents attended meetings , the kids of MAMCoAANA found plenty to do in San Diego. The Paradise Point resort itself offered plenty of entertainment. It had five pools, as well as its own private beach. The Mission Bay beach was just down the road for those who wanted a larger beach. Mission Bay had many boardwalk shops, food, and entertainment. Our resort was also conveniently located across from Sea World, and many took advantage of their all-day pass on Friday. Downtown San Diego was also not far from Paradise Point. There was plenty of shopping and nightlife for the older kids. Many locals attended the meeting and were able to tell us about other attractions. Thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Mittal for providing lunch at their beautiful home on Saturday afternoon. There was much entertainment at the dinner Saturday night, but the kids provided the feature entertainment. We organized and put on our own fashion show! All of the children, from ages 4 to 21, participated. Many thanks to all who partook in this event! Overall. San Diego was never boring for those not attending meetings. Toronto looks just as promising! On a side note, all of us who know Rohini Kumar wish her the best of luck in medical school! She started at Jefferson Medical College the Monday after MAMCoAANA. Way to go Rohini! You are a great inspiration to us all. We know you’ll do great!
