MAMC Golden Jubilee Celebrations

MAMCOAANA would like to forward this announcement about the Goldon Jubilee Celebrations on behalf of MAMCOS and encourage all members to participate:

1st Aug 2007: Grand welcome to the 50th enter ant batch and after all formalities address by dean and somebody from the Golden Jubilee batch.
31st August 2007: Mega press conference where the brochure of events and letter of Appeal for funds is released by the dean and brief history of MAMC will be told to press and maximum exposure to media.
1st September 2008: Fresher's day celebration with cultural program by MAMCOS, Hasya Kavi Sammelan, and other cultural programs.
2nd October 2007: walk/run from MAMC -India Gate & back with aim of raising funds for further activities.MAMCOS also plans a public lecture on some relevant topic by an eminent person. Followed by Lunch.
20th Dec 2007: Grand celebrations with felicitation of the Golden Jubilee batch as well as felicitation of the Silver Jubilee batch.
26th February 2008 will be official College day (50 years ago MAMC started on this day) with major function by the college. There is plan and ambition to invite the President, release of stamp, felicitate the Golden Jubilee batch etc.
Last Sunday of March 2008, MID-CON to be special (details to follow)
1st-3rd August 2008: Grand conclave of the Golden Jubilee of MAMC. We plan to invite eminent people from all walks of life like actors, politicians, scientists, jurists, newspersons, engineers, enterpeuners, mangers, teachers etc.

They will deliver talks in seminars and it will also have the best of MAMC in the academic session. This is planned in Vigyan Bhavan/India Habitat Center. There will be 2 evenings of cultural programmes.
On first day we plan rock evening with all band from old and new MAMC people. Like Shekhar Sheshadri, Praveen Khilani, etc.
Second day will be cultural program of classical and light classical music. Last day shall have felicitation and awards.
